This is our tentative schedule for 2010, our 4th annual Shag Explosion and 2nd annual Canadian Shag Dance Championships! Like most schedules, it's part fiction, part malicious rumour, so stay tuned for minor adjustments!

Dust Off That Shag All Levels (Patrick and Natasha)

A "rust remover" for your Shag dancing--reviewing some basic moves and technique to get your brain back on Shag!

OSDS Friday Night Dance at 317 Chapel St.

  • Featuring Dr. Jazz We're very happy to bring back one of our favourite bands! Led by the amazing clarinetist David Renaud, this is a high-calibre jazz band that will keep you Shagging (and swingin') all night!

Better Than Chocolate Beg/Int (Zack & Maryse)

Your partner would actually consider giving up chocolate for moves this cool! Well, depending on the cacao content.

Shag Jam Insanely challenging (Johnny & Rebecca)

Shag moves so cool they'll make eyes pop out of sockets and go bouncing merrily around the jam circle. In a fun way.

Shag Gala and Canadian Shag Dance Championships: Finals!

Note: this dance will be held at the Swing Dynamite studio!

It's our fourth year of Canada's biggest Shag competition, and its second year as the Canadian Shag Dance Championships!
